The “Bizzarro d'Autore”

association will hold a

Video Competition

during the 7th Edition of

BizzarroFilmFestival

(from now on, called BFF), 

it will take place during the 6th, 7th and 8th of June 2019 in Bologna,

inside the MILLENNIUM CLUB in Via Riva Reno.

The competition is open to video-works dedicated to

Quality Eros, Fetish and Bizarre themes

The video-works could belong to the following cathegories:

Short films in subject

Music videoclips

Inquiry or backstage documentaries

Experimental, video-art or video-performance films

Animation

The BFF staff will -unilaterally- accept or refuse any video proposed, judging them about coherency to the themes and quality of the work.

The video-works must be filmed after 01 January 2015 and must be shorter than 25 minutes, nevertheless some excepions about one or both requirements could be allowed if the BFF staff will judge that entry specially interesting.

The video-works will run for the following prizes, assigned in total independence, from the BFF jury.

“Bizzarro d'oro” prize to the first place

consisting of an engraved plate and €. 200,oo in money

“Bizzarro d'Argento” prize to the second place

consisting of an engraved plate and €. 100,oo in money

“Bizzarro di Bronzo” prize to the third place

consisting of an engraved plate and €. 50,oo in money

“Device”

prize for best video work realized using only smartphones or tablets.

More than these “official” prizes there will be some more SPECIAL PRIZES that are still to be decided. A short list of them will follow as soon as possible, most notably there will be prizes for “special sections” like LGBT, AN FEMME, SHIBARI&ROPES and more.

HOW TO PARTECIPATE

The festival is self funded

To participate to the competition of VIII° edition of BizzarroFilmFestival the film-makers must send -absolutely before- 20th of May 2019 the application form  (you will find it as an attachment to this advertisement) to the following address:

The application form must include the following documents:

(most important: use envelopes not bigger than 20x27 cm)

• Participation fee € 20.00.
• Copy of the work in DVD-R format or in digital format .dv,
• 60-minute Mini-Trailer for the site
• Poster of the film in vertical format
• Technical sheet of the work (attached to this announcement);
• Curriculum of the author;
• Images of the work and scene photos in digital format .jpg;
